Forum discussing - rapidly changing field of Genetics
The University of Queensland Diamantina Institute (UQDI), based at the Translational Research Institute beside the Princess Alexandra Hospital, is a world-leading biomedical translational research facility. Headed by Professor Matthew Brown, the institute is host to over 270 researchers turning scientific discoveries into better treatments to improve human health.


The institute is hosting a free public forum. You can join leading experts in a forum discussing the rapidly changing field of genetics and the impact this will have on the future practice of medicine and your health. Genomic healthcare focuses on the use of DNA sequencing information in patient diagnosis and treatment of diseases such as cancer, diabetes and osteoporosis.
