On the fourth Sunday of every month Puffing Billy Railway Station in Gembrook comes alive bustling with stall holders and locals.

Gembrook Market is held in the car park adjacent to Puffing Billy Station and plays host to an array of stalls. Ranging from fresh produce, to coffee, wines, handicrafts, flowers and dried fruit and nuts.

From local wares to even free and garage sale items brought in by local residents Gembrook Market focuses on promoting sustainable living. Here you can find local information, buy a native plant for your garden, get a psychic reading, buy some warm woolies and a coffee while the kids play on the jumping castle. You could even catch Puffing Billy to Gembrook which arrives at the station at 1pm giving you an hour to peruse the stalls than another 45 minutes for a coffee at one of the local coffee shops before jumping back on Puffing Billy.

The market is run by Volunteer Committee of Management with the support of Puffing Billy Railway, Cardinia Shire Council, local Community Groups and Businesses. Proceeds from the market are channelled back into the local community through Community Grants.
