Best ice cream in Sydney - the divine Coconut Lychee gelato
I'll apologise in advance, this review will be full of inadequate superlatives while I try to describe what I ate last night...but I MUST tell you about this.

I took the kids off for a quick bite, and after dinner I took them for ice cream at Messina. I'm not the biggest ice cream fan, and generally can take it or leave it.

I didn't want one, but as I paid for the kids ice creams, I asked for a taste of the Coconut Lychee flavour, which I thought was this pink and brown mix that looked quite interesting. I was slightly disappointed when he scooped out a taste of what looked like a creamy vanilla flavour.

The small taste was enough to have me hooked. I ordered one and spent the next 5 minutes trying to think of how to describe it, beyond it is AMAZING!

It's light and fluffy, creamy (though I notice the website says the dairy flavours have low fat content) and the lychee flavour seems to cut through the coconut. (I did warn you it would be inadequate).

All I can say is you have to go down there and try it for yourself. I would say it's the best ice cream I've had in Sydney.
So as Molly used to say (I've just lost half my audience with my age) 'do yourself a favour' and treat yourself!
