Gelato Bello has your summertime beach cravings covered. Their shop front in Semaphore is the perfect location to get your gelato fix and stroll on down to the beach (hopefully before the gelato melts).

Gelato Bello headquarters are based in Glynde where their original store is located. There are some interesting flavours to try, such as violet, which is musky sweet, and ricotta. As usual, there are all the delicious gelato flavours you would expect. Flavours include chocolate, mango, salted caramel, boysenberry, hazelnut, cookies and cream, and more. I tried the coconut flavour and lemon meringue pie and they were both amazing. The lemon meringue pie tasted exactly like a real pie, but cold.

You can get your gelato in a cup, or a cone (bonus, they also come chocolate and sprinkle dipped). Serving sizes are very generous and a lot larger than you would find at other ice creameries and gelaterias. To be honest, it was a struggle even finishing my two scoop up (totally worth it though).

There is also an inside seating area and a room where larger groups can sit as well as some tables out on the street to enjoy the sunshine.

Gelato aside, there is also a dessert menu that includes shakes, crepes and waffles. They are also running 'Bello nights' on Mondays, where you can buy 1 dessert and get 1 free.

Gelato Bello is open:
Monday - Thursday 1pm - 10pm
Friday 1pm - 11 pm
Saturday 12pm - 11pm
Sunday 12pm - 10pm
