So, here's the thing - I know that we are in the heart of winter and the last thing that you'd want in the cold and rainy weather is a scoop of gelato goodness. But you have to admit - the winter sunshine that Adelaide gets blessed with is the kind to instantly uplift your spirits and warm your mind, body, and soul in nourishing and exciting ways!

While the past few days have made us experience a wintry blast, this weekend is looking promising with some pockets of sunny skies and what better way to make the most of this warmth than by heading down to Gelatissimo Norwood?

Reopening their doors after undergoing extensive renovations and a rebrand, Gelatissimo Norwood has been transformed by 25-year-old Adriana Rozaklis, who has adorned the space in shades of pastel pink and yellow to bring their logo colours to fresh life. Having owned the Gelatissimo Norwood franchise for a little over two years, Adriana has found the journey to be a whirlwind experience: A week before my 23rd birthday, the week my husband and I went to Sydney to do the training to become apart of Gelatissimo, he proposed to me, it was a great beginning and it's been great ever since!"

The much-loved and highly popular gelato store on the Parade in Norwood hopes to offer their customers with an improved inviting experience of enjoying the gelato brand. Every single time that I've been in Norwood (which is, on average, at least twice in a fortnight), Gelatissimo Norwood tends to be packed with customers who flock to the store for their well-known handcrafted gelato and sorbet that are made fresh in-store to ensure quality and consistency.

"I think these colours speak to our customers about "freshness". We make everything in store from Australian-sourced goods. For example, our mangoes come from Queensland, we have real, fresh Kensington mangoes that go into every mango sorbet tray." - Adriana Rozaklis (owner, Gelatissimo Norwood)

Along with their fresh re-brand, Gelatissimo Norwood is also excited to be releasing two delicious new flavours (Fudgey Choc Chunks & Raspberries and Frosted Cinnamon Scrolls) and there are plans to introduce a wider range of vegan and sugar-free products eventually to appeal to a versatile range of customers.

"We are super excited to have a wider range of sugar-free and vegan options! We still have all of our oldies but goodies. [However], we have also felt [that] it's really important that every gelato and sorbet lover feels included when they come to any Gelatissimo store." - Adriana Rozaklis (owner, Gelatissimo Norwood)

To celebrate their reopening on the 4th of July, Gelatissimo Norwood will be running the attractive special of $3 gelato scoops from 12pm - 7pm. To redeem the $3 scoop special, "like" them on Facebook, follow them on Instagram, share the event, and present this online voucher!

Additionally, there is a gelato midi cake up for grabs that will be given away to the 100th customer in-store that day! Customers can also take full advantage of their Instagrammable space by snapping a selfie with their scoop in-store and go in the running to win a $50 Gelatissimo gift card (make sure you use the hashtag #gelatissimonorwood to be eligible).
