On the 15th - 17th of March 2019, the Rotary Club of Geelong West will be holding their first book fair of the year at the Geelong West Town Hall. Opening hours will be 9am-8pm on Friday, 9am-5pm on Saturday, and 9am-2pm on Sunday.
The popular event is held twice a year - during March and August - and provides the perfect opportunity for book lovers to grab some fantastic bargains while supporting some worthy causes.
There will be thousands of books available, including children's books, fiction, and non-fiction, with donations coming in from people across the region, as well as the Geelong Regional Library Corporation. At last year's fair, 15,000 books were sold, raising a total of $22,500 for Rotary projects.

Cost:The entry fee is a gold coin donation, and books will be priced at $2 for hardcover books and $1 for paperbacks and children's books.
The money raised will go towards a number of community projects that are supported by Rotary, including
Samaritan House,
Barwon Health Patient Transport,
Geelong Kokoda Youth Program, plus many more.
About the venue:Geelong West Town Hall is located at 153 Pakington Street Geelong and is next to the Geelong West Library.
Free parking is available, and if you're travelling on public transport, there's a bus stop across the road for
bus route 22.
Public toilets are located nearby, and if you need to get cash out, there are two ATMs located within 100 metres of the hall (ANZ and Commonwealth Bank).
