Fashion can be very fascinating - especially when you see the creative designs that so many of the artists come up with nowadays. Many of them, we would possibly not wear, but I always find it so interesting and wonder where their ideas come from! With originality as well great models, the Geelong Fashion Runway is a fundraiser that will be on 6th October 2018, from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm.
The venue this year is the Geelong West Town Hall, 153 Pakington St, Geelong West.
The Geelong Fashion Runway, or GSR, is an exclusive annual fashion show and this is the third year it has been staged. This year they will be showcasing the up and coming fashion designers from both Geelong and Melbourne.
This is a fundraising event which supports the Liptember Foundation, who support women's mental health This year proceeds will also be going to the children's appeal campaign by Barwon Health Foundation. This foundation strives to build rehabilitation centres for children with special needs.
The event profits go 100% into these fundraiser appeals and all monies raised from this event will go to the above two non-profit organisations. The fundraiser fashion show is a super way to support these emerging designers, some of whom are just starting on their career and will have brilliant new ideas!
These creative designers will be going from exhibiting to sale from the runway. There will also be accessories on the day of the Geelong Fashion Runway, so do not miss out on the chance to buy runway looks and at the same time support the worthy causes by just being there!
