Scenery for a play can be everything, and it doesn't get more breathtaking than the backdrop of an English castle or cathedral.

GB Theatre Company is taking its 2013 tour of William Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice and A Midsummer Night's Dream to some of the most spectacular outdoor venues in the UK.
Audiences in the Midlands will be able to enjoy the outdoor showing of the plays at historic Warwick Castle from August 15 to 17.

Viewers are encouraged to take along picnics and blankets to make the experience even more enjoyable during a beautiful summer's night.
On Thursday 15th August 15 and Saturday August 17, A Midsummer Night's Dream will be performed, while the performance of A Merchant of Venice takes place on Friday August 16.
For all shows, The Peacock Gate at Warwick Castle opens at 6.30pm with the play starting at 7.30pm.
Running time is 2 hours 20 including a 20 minute interval.
Other dates on the tour include performances at: Castle Green in Taunton, Norwich Cathedral, St Leonard's Hill in Windsor, Reading School, Chepstow Castle, Kentwell Hall in Suffolk, Askham Bryan College in York, Brandon Hill in Bristol, and Arundel Castle.
The Theatre Company will also be appearing at the Wilderness Festival in Oxfordshire.

GB Theatre Company was established by Gill Roca and Barrie Palmer, who was an actor with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC).
Tickets for the Warwick Castle performances cost £18 for adults and £14 senior citizens, full-time students and under-16's.
