Gawler's original and best community market
Every Sunday without fail, stall holders set up their stalls in the Gawler Railway Station car park in readiness for the influx of people who come to browse, seek to purchase, or just wander past the local wares and chat to the locals.
This little known but locally popular market is arranged by the Gawler Lions Club. Known as the Gawler Lions Station Market, it is open from 8am to 1pm every Sunday, except at Easter and Christmas. Entry is free for visitors, with a $12 amount paid by stallholders to support the Gawler Lions Club. Stallholders must book for a site.

So if you are local and looking for something to do, or you are heading out to the Barossa Valley one Sunday, why not call in and have a browse, have a chat and perhaps sample some of the fresh foods that are available. Or for those interested in being a stallholder, bookings are essential.
Further details are available on the City of Gawler's website.
