Australia is a beautiful country with many places to explore in your own backyard.
An innovative community hub like no other

The Gawler Civic Centre, located on the main street of Gawler, is an iconic hub connecting people and businesses of the region. The centre is an integration of two State Heritage listed buildings, namely The Institute and The Town Hall.

There will be a guided tour of the Centre on Tuesday, 13 December 2022, from 10:00am to 11:00am.

We did a similar guided tour earlier this year and were very impressed with the renovated hub and how the old structure was architecturally integrated with the new one. Within the Centre is a public library, a Cultural Heritage Centre, a youth space, a functions venue, a business innovation hub and even a cafe. Created for government, economic and social enterprise, this is a venue like no other and is definitely worth visiting.

The tour is free, however, bookings are essential. If you would like a cup of coffee after the tour, then get a voucher for $5.00. For more information and bookings, visit their Eventbrite website.
