On April 28th the Redland Sporting Club Pipe Band is hosting a pipe band competition at Peter Burge Oval, at Wellington Point, 200 metres walk from the Redlands Sporting Clubhouse.



Pipe bands began life in the military with the Royal Scots, the oldest and most senior infantry regiment of the line of the British Army, raised in 1633 during the reign of Charles 1 of Scotland.

This event commences at 10 am and promises much colour and entertainment.

Food vendors will be on site and there will be a Licensed area, in addition to stalls.

Entry fee is $2 at the gate.

Embrace your inner Celt and enjoy the day.
