A Gourmet Experience at Gathered SA

One of my favourite markets that celebrates all things local and South Australian - Gathered Design Market - will be hosting their autumn market this weekend!

A highly social event that brings a sense of connection and community in the grand Queens Theatre (just off Currie Street, in Playhouse Lane), shoppers and customers can expect to see a bit of everything that some of the most talented South Australians have to offer.

Of course, with the two-day shopping extravaganza, customers will be in great need of delicious fuel to keep up their sustenance throughout the day. Here are some businesses that will be making an appearance at this weekend's market:

For something to snack on

Gang Gang Co.
They might have just been in business for a little over a year, but the powerhouse from Gang Gang Co. have cemented themselves to be a great one-shop-stop for Asian inspired burgers that are named after iconic pop culture individuals. Infused with Asian flavours and offering a unique twist on the classic burger, there is a complementary mix of delicious, comfort food that delivers with a decent amount of zing.

Four words - hand rolled arancini balls.
It's a baller! You'd be crazy to miss out on these cheese-stuffed treats!

Moi An
Named to mean "please eat", Mời Ăn offers their customers with a healthy and delicious range of Vietnamese dishes that are made fresh in-house and make you feel like you're in the streets of Vietnam (minus the flight cost)!

Bunny Chow Now
Offering customers with the street food style experience with African delicacies thrown into a delicious mix, BunnyChowNow makes some yummy curries and bunny-shaped rolls that are raved by Gathered SA market goers regularly.

For something sweet

Sweetface Sprinkles
It's a haven of sprinkles that lace some of the cutest desserts ever.

Red Cacao
Hailing from Stirling and presenting with some seriously smooth chocolate bars that are interspersed with tasty combinations of assortments, Red Cacao has a range of chocolates with fruits, nuts, truffle, pralines, and so much more.

TaCHs Stroopwafels
Baked by hand, TaCHs Stroopwafels are a French-Dutch amalgamation of waffle goodness that could almost as easily pass as a sweet breakfast option!

For something a bit more caffeinated

In addition to having their aesthetically pleasing cafe on Franklin Street, Public is a regular at the Gathered SA markets and their coffee is nothing but top quality. Personal favourites include their signature cappuccino and chai latte. They also have freshly baked sweet treats, such as the Portuguese tarts, croissants, pastries, and fluffy cakes - all of which have been personally tried and tested (and satisfactorily snacked on, several times)!

Carters Coffee Liqueur
Bringing together two of my favourites - caffeine and liqueur - Carters Original Coffee Liqueur by Applewood Distillery has strong flavours of chocolate, vanilla, and citrus, which can act as a brilliant ingredient to step up your game for creating silky smooth Espresso Martinis.

For the wine aficionado

XO Wine Co.
A gem hailing from McLaren Vale, XO Wine Co. produces a delectable range of wines, such as Chardonnay, Shiraz, and Grenache, and hopes to provide their customers with wines that are handmade with a free-flowing, light, and airy taste.

Pure Vision Wines
Organic wines produced by a South Australian family that are vegan-friendly, Pure Vision Wines not only look sophisticated, but also taste beautiful - perfect for the cooler nights that await us over the upcoming months!

Hither & Yon
Another fantastic gem from McLaren Vale, Hither & Yon have become synonymous with producing some of the most loved wines - reds, rosÚs, whites, and shiraz (to name a few). A business that is run strongly on family values and running on sustainability through their products, Hither & Yon is all about helping their customers create good memories with friends and family over a bottle of wine.
