The Gasworks Farmers Market at Gasworks Arts Precinct, 21 Graham Street, Albert Park, runs like clockwork every 3rd Saturday of the month from 8am to 1pm. The next Farmers Market is the last one for the year, and will be held on Sat 21 Dec 2024. This is where you can pick up your fresh produce, handmade cakes and jams, freshly laid free-range eggs, cut flowers and more, direct from Victorian farmers and specialty makers, to you. Do note - the markets are a plastic bag free event, and all packaging is as environmentally responsible as possible. Please bring your own trolleys or baskets, reusable bags and coffee cups/mugs.

'Proudly accredited by the Victorian Farmers Market Association (VFMA), this market received the Outstanding Farmers’ Market Award at the 2012 Delicious Produce Awards. The Gasworks Resident Artist Studios are also open during the Farmers Market, so make sure you pop in. In an idyllic setting with buskers to entertain you, enjoy sampling the very best of local Victorian, popping in to see the artists in their art studios and asking them face to face about their wares.

Some of the highlights and remaining upcoming events include Summer in the Glade which runs through till 7 March 2025. It's a series of free cultural experiences where you'll find arts and crafts makers, live music, gourmet exploration and more one Friday a month. The next freebie to look forward to is on Fri 13 Dec 2024 from 5-9pm with muso Tyra Lewis entertaining you. There's also a Christmas Market Special which coincides with the aforementioned Summer in the Glade , so you'll be enjoying both Farmers Market and entertainment on the same day, with the last special market being held on Sat 21 Dec 8am to 1pm. It's your last-minute chance to complete your gift-giving list. The rest of the events eg. Performances, Midsumma, Comedy etc. are ticketed and you'll find them on the event page .
