I've checked the Lunar Calendar and there is no full moon on the weekend of April 7th and 8th.

That information certainly settles the beating heart. I was fearful that the orgy of garlic eating planned at the Garlic Bread Festival at Bowen Hills signified a supernatural phenomena of massive proportions. Such as lots of vampires.

Garlic Bread - Delicious

Welcome To Bowen Hills recently opened in the old Cattle shed in the Brisbane Showgrounds, on the corner of King Street and Gregory Terrace. Right next door is the Sugar Pavilion.

Essentially it is a substantial indoor-outdoor venue and food-truck park. With both permanent fixtures as well as a rotating food-truck lane, the Garlic Bread Festival looks a great place to catch up with friends and family.

Garlic Bread doesn't have to be just bread, butter and garlic as you will discover at this Festival. Food trucks will be serving variations of the classic which will include garlic bread burgers, garlic bread gozlemes, garlic pizzas and garlic sausages in garlic bread.
