If gardens are your passion or you simply love to admire gardens then these museums are a 'must see' experience!
1. Campbelltown Arts Centre
When: Monday- Sunday: Weekedays: 10am-4pm & Weekends: 8:30am-4pm
Where: 1 Art Galley Rd, Campbelltown
Cost: Free
Details: This multi-disciplinary contemporary arts centre features a tranquil Japanese Garden. It also features an extensive outdoor sculpture garden.
2. Eryldene Historic House & Garden
When: Saturdays- Sundays: 10am-4pm
Where: 17 McIntosh St, Gordon
Cost: Adults: $8.00, Children (6-16yrs): $4 & Family (2 adults 2 children): $18
Details: Besides the historic house being the main feature the gardens are a must see too! Here you will find oriental teahouse, garden study, temple, pigeon house, walled fountain, toolshed, garden furnishings, plant material and more...
3. Everglades House & Gardens
When: Daily in Spring & Summer: 10am-5pm & Autumn & Winter: 10am-4pm
Where: 37 Everglades Ave, Leura
Cost: Adults: $13 & Children: $4
Details: These Australian heritage gardens are filled with great traditions of European landscape design as well as the unique Blue Mountains bushland. You can enjoy a self guided tour, picnic, and rose-lined walks down to lookouts.
4. The Gosford Regional Gallery
When: Saturdays & Sundays: 10am-4pm
Where: 36 Webb St, East Gosford
Cost: Free admission to museum and gardens
Details: The gallery includes a stimulating exhibition of garden as well as a gallery of a permanent collection including painting, photography, sculpture and more.
5. NSW Toy & Railway Museum
When: Saturdays- Sundays: 10am-5pm
Where: 36 Olympian Pde, Leura

Details: Set on 5 hectares of historic gardens overlooking the spectacular Jamison Valley, these gardens are a must visit filled with farm & garden scenes, rose gardens, natives and more...
6. Lindesay
When: First Thursday of the Month: 10am-1pm
Where: 1 Carthona Ave, Darling Point
Cost: $10 per person
Details: The historic Lindesay was built in 1834 and of course the house is a spectacular piece of Georgian interiors, but the gardens are a must see too!
7. The Australian Botanic Garden, Mount Annan
When: All year round: 10am-5pm
Where: Narellan Rd, Mount Annan
Cost: Free
Details: This garden is far from a museum, but it certainly needs to be added to this list with 400 hectares of Australian plants, lakeside, picnic areas, walks, exotic plants, outdoor sculptures and more... these gardens are must visit.
8. The Australian Plantbak
When: All year round, 10am-4pm
Where: Narellan Rd, Mount Annan
Cost: Free admission
Details: Situated in the picturesque Australian Botanic Gardens, Mount Annan, it houses seedbank and research laboratories that specialise in horticultural research and conservation of Australian native plant species.
9. The Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens
When: All year round, 9am-5:30pm
Where: Bells Line of Road via Bilpin, Mount Tomah
Cost: Free
Details: Not so much a museum or gallery, but these botanical gardens had to make it on the list with it being spectacular and a world heritage- listed botanic garden. It covers 28 hectares on the summit of a basalt-capped peak, being 1000 metres above sea level and contains more than 40,000 native, exotic and rare plants.
10. The Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney
When: All year round
Where: Mrs Macquaries Rd, Sydney
Cost: Free
Details: Not a garden museum, but certainly a garden to visit in the heart of the city, with thousands of plants, picnic spots and walks to enjoy this botanic garden is a must visit.
