Gardening 4 Kids was launched in October 2010 by keen gardener and mother of four, Erica Lovel. Lovel grew up surrounded by gardens and veggie patches of her family and neighbours.

A passion for gardening, the environment, and sustainability motivate Erica's goals for Gardening 4 Kids: to inspire many young people to value the wonder of the natural world, and to grow Gardening 4 Kids to become a one-stop shop for information and quality products that encourage children to "get back to nature", and have fun in their natural environment.

Our kid-tested review was on the Twigz My First Gardening Tools set, and the Twigz Watering Can. What kid doesn't love digging in the dirt? Okay, some don't! Including my eldest son; that's why this set comes with a kid-sized set of gardening gloves too. This little set of tools will stand the test of time and the test of three rough-and-tumble boys (and a less-than-gentle girl).

The watering can is large enough to hold a decent amount of water, and small enough for one of my little three-year-olds' grasp; not too heavy when full.
