After 30 years of designing gardens for people, then leaving a landscaper to implement it, Amanda Reynolds is now taking a more client-focused approach. Her range of gardening workshops are based on the garden owner working out for themselves what they want their garden to be, then going ahead and creating it themselves.

There are garden workshops held every Spring, Autumn and some in Winter with a focus on those seasons. Winter workshops include pruning as this is seasonal. Spring is about getting out there and doing something new.

Amanda is passionate about gardening and is keen to pass on her life skills and knowledge to people who want to create a new garden or make changes to the one they have. The workshops are very hands-on, where participants learn some basic garden design principles. Some sessions cover soil and permaculture techniques.

In all the workshops, the garden lover will get in touch with the emotional needs and desires of what they want in their garden. Some of her past workshop attendees want to be self-sufficient and grow more of their own food. Others may need a relaxing space for a family or long for a nurturing sanctuary where they can escape the world. Garden designs sessions also consider practical matters such as site, soil and budget.

Spring is a popular time of the year when people want to get motivated and do something different in their outdoor space. Check out these interesting workshops with loads of ideas for you to use in your garden dreams.
