For some reason, I think Darwin likes to use the the colour green in their playgrounds. We found so many green playgrounds in Darwin. One of them is the playground at Garden Road at the edge of Darwin CBD, hidden in the middle of tall apartment buildings. The green colour of this playground is a camouflage mix of green grass and green trees.



There is a bike path near this playground that leads you from the CBD to Botanical Garden. Lots of joggers and cyclists pass this playground.



This playground is very shady with big trees surrounding it. This playground has two areas with sands underneath. One area is for climbing the spider web and the other area is for 2 swings. There is also one picnic table at the playground.



There is no public toilet that I could see near the playground. We couldn't find bins near the playground either, so please remember to take your rubbish with you after playing in this playground. This is a no-smoking zone within 10 metres of the playground area.



Remember to bring your water bottle because of Darwin's hot weather and because there is no drinking water fountain nearby.
