Garden Grove, located in the lovely suburb of Golden Grove, is the recommended garden centre whenever my mother enquires about gardening matters. She looked it up on the Web, found out that they have a
Café de Grove located on site so we decided to head there for lunch and visit the nursery.

The café is tucked away in the corner of the indoor area housing giftware, seeds, outdoor furniture, pots, power tools, hardware and accessories. After placing our orders for lunch, we spent our time browsing the displays while waiting for our food to be served. We were impressed with their selection of Yates flower and vegetable seeds.

After lunch, we wandered out to the nursery area. The layout of the nursery was a pleasant surprise. The pots of plants and seedlings were arranged in clusters, giving one the impression of wandering in a big garden. There is even a picturesque creek flowing through the centre and a little bridge across it

After a relaxed stroll through the nursery and paying for our purchases, we headed to the outdoor area next to the carpark. Here you can find all the landscape, mulching and pavement materials that you need for your garden.

If all the displays prove a little overwhelming and confusing to you, Garden Grove offers garden design services for a small charge. This small charge is easily offset by the discounts that you will receive if you buy all the plants and materials in the design from them. Garden Grove is indeed a one-stop shop for gardeners.
