If you have ever wanted to learn how to design your own garden, the Garden Design for Beginners short course held at Adelaide Botanic Garden on Tuesday 18 February 2020 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm is the course for you. This is one of a series of short sessions organised by Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium of South Australia for gardening beginners or seasoned gardeners who want to improve their skills.

Topics covered include assessing your area, structure features and how to prepare your soil. Also covered during the course are finding out which plants to plant, water efficiency, plant nutrition and various cultivation techniques.
