Garden Blitz is an annual event on The Botanic Gardens of South Australia calendar. This event is limited to 100 volunteers so be quick and register here if you are interested in participating. This year is special because volunteers will be helping the garden shine ahead of its 40th anniversary celebrations.

Volunteers can be of all ages and gardening abilities. They will be working alongside each other and garden staff to plant beautiful flowers and help with mulching and weeding. All volunteers are encouraged to wear long pants, a hat and sturdy shoes. The gardening starts at 8.30am and finishes at 12.30pm. This is followed by a free sausage sizzle for all participants.
