Have you even wondered what our Royal Botanic Garden looks like after it's closed for the day? Want to walk through the Garden when it's closed for the public? Here's your chance to do it!

Many of the Garden's residents get up after dark when the visitors and tourists leave for the day. Join a two hour walk in the dark and hear stories about some of the plants as well as the history of the Garden.

Be ready for close encounters with some of the Garden's residents including owls, tawny frogmouths and possums. This is especially fun for the kids!

This is a perfect family event to keep the children entertained, and they'd feel pretty special knowing that they can walk around the gardens after everyone has left.

Come enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the night. Bring a torch and be prepared for two hours' walking in the dark. Be aware that the tour includes some uneven surfaces and steps.

Refreshments are provided at 5pm at the Joseph Maiden Theatre, Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, and you begin the tour at 5.30pm.

Quick, book online now or phone (02) 9231-8182. Bookings are essential.

Note: If you're a member of Foundation & Friends of the Botanic Gardens, you'll have a member discount to the event. Click here for more information on more information regarding Foundation & Friends.
