Come and buy some fabulous goods or sell some
Garage sales are something that I find very exciting! At this yearly, or bi-yearly event, you can work out all the sales in your area. You can travel near or far and go hunting to find some fabulous ventures and bargains. Bargains are things that are not so easy to find, but at the Garage Sale Trail, you are sure to find something that you are interested in.

Garage Sale Trail is the nation's biggest weekend of garage sales which gives the public reuse and waste reduction. This will also connect communities during one whole big weekend of buying and selling across Western Australia and the rest of the country.

This community event will be held on 19th and 20th October 2019 and will feature a huge range of many people getting rid of their goods that they no longer need. Of course, this will also stop a lot of goods going into landfill as people will re-use them again!

If you are interested in selling at this Garage Sale Trail, go to this site so you can register.

If you also want a list of those people registered in Perth, check out this website or you can even put in your own suburb to get even closer sales near your house.

I believe there is going to be about 2 to 3 million items for sale around Australia, so come on down and make sure you do not miss out on some of these!

If you want to tidy up your house and make your life easier, then Garage Sale Trail is the place to be!

A decluttered wardrobe can give you a personal style so maybe you could even start by getting rid of those leather pants that you have now had for so many years - or similar items that you do not wear or use.

GIVE YOUR ITEMS A CLEAN and make some space in your rooms! While you are doing this, you are also making a bit of money which can be used for several more useful items.

As a buyer, you are going to find some items that are both weird and also some unexpected and unusual goods with so many bargains and treasures that will be available to be found.

At the Garage Sale Trail, you will be joining about 400,000 Australians choosing to reuse by putting second-hand first.

Also as a buyer, you have a pick! Buy only what you know that you will use, wear or keep. Make sure that whatever you are going to buy is something that is a commodity that you know is something you will lose and have a real feel for.

There are several people who make group sales which means that say four or so people in a row or close to each other, all have the sale advertised together.

In order to do this, here is a link where you can look for others in your area to sell with.

As mentioned, Garage Sale Trail is Australia's biggest reuse and community event. But why on earth would you participate? There are several reasons!

Make sure you put a bit of thought into your sale before you start to set it up. Perhaps even make a plan of where you will put everything and how you will price everything. Goods are far better if they are priced and each customer can see exactly how much each item is going to cost them.

Make sure you make your displays look attractive as an appealing display will make people check out so many items.

Put some very good brands in your sale as this will make people interested in looking at all your items! If you have a very expensive few brands of clothes at a reasonable price, people are sure to be interested. Make sure you have a small space where people can at least try on some clothes if you are going to have a lot of clothes for sale. I would not buy clothes without trying on, so I would not expect a customer of mine to do so either.

Be sure that your goods stand out and do yourself a favour - make a fabulous name for your sale as an interesting name should get so many people at your house!

So, whether you are going to be a buyer or a seller at the Garage Sale Trail, make sure you go prepared for either of these events.
