The huge and fabulous Garage Sale Trail will be taking place this year on Saturday 22nd October with over 10,000 garage sales expected to be set up across the country and with more than 300,000 shoppers eager to bag a bargain.

If you don't think you will be able to make it to that many, why not save time and head to one of the larger events on the day.

In the north you will find the Wanneroo Showgrounds is opening its doors for the first time to hold a community market, while in the western suburbs, the Lake Monger Markets will once again hold their huge event.

Lake Monger Markets
Lake Monger Reserve, Dodd St, Wembley
Gates open 9am, closing at 1pm.

Expect to be dazzled with an enormous number of 'garage sale' stalls set up on the banks of the beautiful Lake Monger for a huge morning of bargain-hunting and more. There will be lots of food vendors on the day plus plenty of activities for the whole family including petting zoo, face painting, human foosball and even car graffiti.

Wanneroo Showgrounds
21 Ariti Ave, Wanneroo
Gates open 9am with a $2 buyer entry fee, closing at 3pm.

For the first time the Wanneroo Showgrounds are opening their gates to people who want to take part in the Garage Sale Trail but don't have a garage! Anyone who lives in the area is able to set up a stall, simply by registering and paying $10 per car or $16 per trailer.

There will be food and drinks on the day, and who knows what sort of bargains you will be able to find.
