Nestled in a little area not too far away from the Alice Springs CBD resides the newly-renovated Gap View Hotel. It's got a pub upon entering with both indoor and outdoor seatings (as pictured below) and a restaurant-style ambience with a fully-licensed bar upon walking through the left walkway provided.

The staff and customers at Gap View are extremely friendly and hospitable, and even conduct Quiz Nights once a month, so be sure to check that out. This is a great opportunity to meet new people and build long-lasting friendships.

The classic Pork Belly at Gap View has been a long-time favourite on the menu. Cooked to perfection, the crackle on this baby is absolutely delicious. If you're ever at the Gap View and unsure of what to get, I'd highly recommend this meal - $24.90 for a satisfyingly tasty dish that is served with a side of a bread roll and chips sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

As encouraged by the NT Government and Department of Transport, Gap View uses coasters with "Sober Bob" written on it and highly supports the Government's initiative to appoint someone from your group (or request you if you're by yourself) to get yourself/ves home safely by not drinking alcoholic beverages. The person nominated as "Sober Bob" also receives a free non-alcoholic beverage as long as they let the bartender be aware of this. A great idea, if you ask me.
