Dogs just love running about and meeting their friends at the dog park. So why not mark the upgrade to the off-leash dog park at Paten Road The Gap by getting along to the opening at 11am on 8th June by new Brisbane Mayor Adrian Schrinner The opening coincides with 2019 Pet Fair which will run from 11am-2pm.
The Pet will feature market stalls including:
dog registration animal adoption dog training discounted micro-chipping, vaccinations, flea, tick and worming treatments doggy daycare
pet accessories pet treats.
Live music and food will also be available.
Program details include:
11.00 am: Opening of Pet Fair and dog off-leash area
11.30am: Dog obedience demonstration
12.00pm: Pet care information
12.15pm: Reptile care and demonstration
1.00pm: Dog agility demonstration
Cats need to be brought in a cat carrier and dogs are to be on a lead when outside the off-leash area. Brisbane City Council is creating more to see and do in a clean and green Brisbane, with more than 2100 locals parks and more created all the time.
