Greyhound Adoption Program SA (GAP) is hosting an Adoption Day on Saturday 7th November 2015.

This is your family's opportunity to adopt or foster a greyhound this summer.

GAP aims to increase and improve the public's awareness and desire to care for these animals in a loving family environment once their racing careers have finished.

There will be over 20 dogs available to adopt or foster on the day. All the greyhounds in the program are sterilised, wormed, vaccinated, microchipped and vet checked. You also receive a collar, lead and winter coat, all included in the $250 adoption fee.

The Foster Care Program runs for 6 weeks and participants will receive all vet care including worming and flea treatment; 'Bucket O' Beef dry food; collars, leads, muzzles and jackets; $50 fuel voucher program to cover travel expenses and a dinner voucher for two at Chasers Restaurant as a special thank you to new foster carers.

In addition to meeting the gorgeous greyhounds, your family can also enjoy a sausage sizzle. There will also be a FREE bouncing castle and face painting for kids.

This event will run from 11am to 3pm at 55 Cardigan Street, Angle Park. Entry is FREE and all are welcome.
