Located on Little Lonsdale Street, Gami is a Korean style restaurant most famous for its Korean style fried chicken and beer. The place is very small but trust me it is well worth a visit. The ambience is very casual and fun, the service is simple and easy, and they always have the top 50 tunes playing.

Gami's speciality is mainly deep fried chicken, served in different styles: original, sweet chilli, soy garlic, lemon and of course, spicy fried chicken. Added to all that is a good selection of beers, including the house beer, Gami beer. What size beer would you want? Small? Large? Keg? They have it all.

I would suggest going in a group, as Gami chicken is at it's cheapest when you take a lot of people, that way you can get a keg to share for only $40 for 4 litres, and different kinds of fried chook to share.

You might be thinking that fried chicken is pretty basic, but trust me Gami's fried chicken is light as can be, crispy and overall, very tasty. All this is usually served with a side of spicy mayo coleslaw, so you can feel less bad about eating fried chicken all night. I swear I had no idea I could have that much chicken, and only chicken, in one sitting. If you like the addictive spicy kind like me, you're in for a treat.

Of course there are other things on the menu for those of you who aren't in the mood for deep fried goodness, but really at Gami it's all about the chicken n' beer.
