Gamers know that great video games and great soundtracks go hand in hand! Come celebrate the most epic, awe-inspiring video game soundtracks at Canberra International Music Festival's Game On! concert at Llewellyn Hall, this Saturday 6th May at 1pm.This family-friendly event will feature the Canberra Youth Orchestra and the powerhouse Topology quintet, direct from Brisbane, performing some of the most beloved video game soundtracks live and in 3D!Expect to hear music from Pokemon, Kingdom Hearts, BioShock and Halo alongside music composed by ANU students. And die-hard video game fans take note: Garry Schyman, the composer of the BioShock original soundtrack, will even be on hand to chat with the audience before the show!Cool kids, nerds and music lovers of all ages are invited to come early for some pre-show entertainment by young Canberra designers and composers.The doors open at 11am for pre-concert gaming with slick new games and music by students of Canberra's Academy of Interactive Entertainment, followed by a panel with BioShock composer at 12pm. The concert begins in Llewellyn Hall at 1pm.Pull the kids (or yourself) away from the computer and come and enjoy this amazing live music event in Canberra.
