If you are already feeling the withdrawal symptoms that evidently follow the conclusion of yet another Game of Thrones season, then the guys at HBO may have a solution to tie you over until next year. To celebrate the conclusion of Game of Thrones season 4, HBO and Google Play will be touring the Game of Thrones Exhibition in Sydney this July. The festival of "Fire and Ice" aims to bring George R. R. Martin's fantastic fantasy world to life for viewers and readers everywhere.

The exhibition will be showcasing nearly 100 original artifacts from the show, including pieces featured in Seasons 1, 2, 3 and 4. The exhibit features actual props from the hit television show including Joffery's crown, John Snow's sword, tragically the remains of Rob Stark's direwolf Grey Wind and of course the iron throne itself. Many of the models used for the Game of Thrones television series will also play a part in the exhibition, including dragons, direwolves, dragon eggs and everything in between.

Costumes from the hit HBO show will also be a key feature of the exhibition, ranging from the winter wear of the watchers of the wall all the way to the various fashions of King's Landing. Guests will also get to see all the various frocks worn by the lady of many names and infamous mother of dragons Daenerys Targaryen played by Emilia Clarke.

Another highlight that has featured at previous editions of the exhibition around the world has been a virtual reality simulator called the Oculus Rift. The simulator allows you to ascend 700 feet up the face of The Wall on board the infamous winch-driven elevators which feature on the show. Once your goggles and headphones are on the experience is completely immersive. Guests will be able to experience all the sights and sounds of the North, along with all the dangers that go with it. So bring a warm coat because winter is officially coming to Sydney.

To add to all the excitement, and no doubt to keep guests warm, there is even some gossip going around that guests will have the opportunity to sample Game of Thrones beer of the "Fire and Blood" variety. Inspired by Daenerys Targaryen and her three dragons, Drogon, Rhaegal and Viserion, the Brewery Ommegang has created a beer named Fire and Blood Red Ale featuring one of the three dragons on the label. The labels are distributed at random.

The Game of Thrones Exhibition has been touring all over the world in recent months to the joy of Westeros fanatics. The exhibit will also offer an assortment of official Game of Thrones licensed collectible merchandise from the HBO shop, including replicas, t-shirts, hand of the king pins, as well as other trinkets related to the immensely successful television series.

The Game of Thrones Exhibition will be held at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia located in Sydney. The exhibition will run from July 1st to July 5th, opening at 10am and closing at 8pm each day. Admission will be free to the public.
