Game Obsession Expo returns to Mannum Showgrounds on Sunday 5th August 2018!

Now in its third year, Game Obsession Expo is bigger and better with brand NEW activities and entertainment for lovers of Cosplay, games & gaming, medieval & fantasy worlds, motorsport and all things pop culture!

Whether you love mystical, fantasy worlds, sci-fi or galaxies/realms close or far away, Game Obsession Expo brings these extraordinary worlds to life through interactive activities, spectacular entertainment and a vibrant community atmosphere at Mannum Showgrounds! All are welcome to take part in this grand family-friendly event!

New highlights of this year's jam-packed program include Pop Culture Historian Stuart A. Blair, who will present a Constructed Language Workshop exploring the Klingon language and a fascinating lecture focusing of Tintin and European Comic Book Literature. There will also be a thrilling skydiving demonstration, Victorian Goldfields Medival Faire's exciting jousting demonstrations and Lower Murray Vintage Engines' vintage engine display.

Alll the favourites are back as well including The Valiant Order of Historical Entertainers with their medieval re-enactment, the firing of a Moat Perrier, Southern Wilds LARP's displays of live action role play & come & try sessions and so much more!

Step back to medieval times of Knights, Romans & Celtic warriors of trebuchets & jousting. Try on some armour or have a go at medieval archery.

Be enthralled by private collections of Mr Potato Head, Doctor Who, Pokemon & more.

Learn the skills of Warhammer 40K, Historical Wargaming, Dungeons & Dragons, Yu-Gi-Oh and more.

Watch blacksmiths and woodturners in action.

Get your "petrol fix" with the Southern Districts Car Club Rally Demonstrations or learn about & lawnmower racing. Have a go at virtual reality with a headset unit, console, or test your skills in the V8 Supercar simulator.

Join in with live action roleplay, battling it out with foam weaponry.

Take advantage of photo opportunities with Southern Dewback Garrison, Tintin, life-size Doctor Who cut-outs & tardis, a wide range of roving medieval characters and so much more.

There will also be a diverse range of traders and exhibitors offering games, toys, hobbies and collectables and so much more! You can even join a local club!

Don't forget to come dressed as your favourite comic book, film, anime or video game character and enter the popular Cosplay competition!

There will also be heaps of delicious food and drinks on site, as well as live music to unwind to!

Game Obsession Expo is the ultimate family day out - where else can you see a Moat Perrier fire pumpkins across the oval, watch a live medieval battle and learn about lawnmower racing!

Mannum is just over an hour's drive from Adelaide. For your convenience, a shuttle bus service will be operating between Mannum Market and Game Obsession Expo.
