I was literally stumped for words with regards to how I could best describe
Uta Mooney's collaborative exhibition,
From the Gallery Walls of the Imagination.
Uta's art is combined with writer, Glenn Stenson's words. The exhibition was launched with Uta present and via Skype with
Glenn Stenson (as he was elsewhere at the time). Guests were able to interact with both Uta and Glenn!
Uta's art is very much a collage of mixed media and draws the viewer in, layer by layer. Each piece of art is descriptively matched with excerpts of purpose written text from Glenn's novel
Cabin 108.
Uta Mooney will be in Gallery M on Sunday, 17th February 2013 from 1.30pm, to demonstrate her painting techniques and meet visitors.
A very involving feast for the senses!
