When you are stuck for things to do this chilly winter, Galactic Circus at Crown is the ideal place for indoor fun and games.
Located at Crown Entertainment Complex and free to enter, Galactic Circus is Australia's largest indoor interactive theme park.
It features loads of the latest arcade games, ticket games, and yummy stuff like fairy floss, showbags and popcorn.
The games are all run on a game card system (except for the 20c games), so as soon as you arrive, head to the main desk or simply find a game card machine. All you need to do is choose how many cards you need, and the amount you wish to have on them. Then it's time to play!
Ideal for young and old, Galactic Circus is located next door to M9 Laser Skirmish and Kingpin Bowling Lounge, making it a great way to spend a full day out of the chilly Melbourne winter.
For ages 8 and up, M9 Laser Skirmish is an exciting and pain free way to battle it out with 23 other warriors.
If you prefer a little less action but just as much fun, head to the Kingpin Bowling Lounge, featuring 15 state-of-the-art bowling lanes, 2 fully licensed bars and a brand new photo system which allows you to buy photos of your group bowling.
Galactic Circus is an awesome way to entertain yourself or the kids, during what looks set to be one of Melbourne's coldest and wettest winters!
Although I don't have any kiddies of my own, friends have been telling me how difficult it is to keep theirs entertained during the winter school holidays. I'd forgotten all about Galactic Circus, but I might just mention it to a few of them as ideas for this weekend. Thanks!
