Catch the drone aerial race
FutureME is designed as a platform for discussions of innovations and disruptive trends that are transforming the world around us - the way we work, live and play in future. This is the first time ever such an event is being held in Singapore. It offers a series of talks, workshops and showcases up-and-coming technologies.
This 3-day event is divided into three segments: FutureWork (25 March), FutureLive (26 March), and FuturePlay (27 March).
Product showcases are available for viewing. Home Hydroponics by Highrise Habitat allow anyone to grow edible plants and herbs with ease. Want to see how food can be printed using 3D technology? NUS Interactive and Digital Media Institute will show you how.
Feiyu, the world's leading manufacturer for gimbals and electronically controlled stabilisers for action cameras will display their handheld gimbals G4S and MG with 360 degrees rotation on all 3 axises.
Notable speakers for FutureLive are Stephen Pimbley, Ben Thum, and Muhammmad Ibnur Rashad Bin Zainal Abidin. Together with the rest of speakers, they will deliver their series of public talks "From Garden City to Edible City" on 26 March 4-6pm.
The theme of FuturePlay is "Play is serious". Ian Gregory from Witching Hour Studios will share his insight on how parents and kids can connect and build a bond by using games as a medium.
Vitaliy Nechaev, a Virtual Reality evangelist, will talk about virtual reality and 360 videos. He will also showcase his movie "Happyland360" which received honourable mention in the 'Best Film/Interactive Story' category at the prestigious Vision VR/AR Summit in Hollywood.
Don't miss FutureME Aerial Race on the last day of the festival from 9am to 4pm. Thirty two pilots will take part in this race. Spot Phoebe, Wallace, and Lionel and win yourself a voucher!
