Future Sound of Yoga has returned to Paddington and is bringing together yoga flow, dance and a live DJ who provides the soundtrack - a blend of electronic, indie and alternative music. Can you think of a cooler way to unwind from the pressures of the day? If you missed out on on these events earlier in the year, then now is your chance to check it out.
Future Sound of Yoga is an experience for the body and mind. The music and movement encourages the yogis in the room to let the day melt away and invites full presence. The idea isn't to contort yourself into advanced yoga poses or be the best dancer in the room - it's about being in the moment and letting loose.
Be sure to wear comfortable clothing that you can freely move in since you don't want to be restricted in anyway while you're trying to get your downward dog and boogie on. Yoga mats can be provided but recommended to bring your own if you have one.
The events are held at Paddington Uniting Church which will be transformed into a space of music and movement on the following dates:
I went to this a few weeks ago and it was really interesting! I was a little bit taken aback when it suddenly turned into a yoga rave half-way through the evening, but it was definitely something very different and liberating.
