Future Music Festival is yet another of Australia's premiere dance music festivals returning for the summer festival season next year. It will be touring nationally at the beginning of March, 2012, bringing with it a host of big name music acts. Those who went along to the several previous years of the Brisbane FMF will probably be hoping next year's weather is a little less wet and muddy, but we can only hope.
This year's line-up brings some of the best artists of a multitude of genres, including electro, trance, dubstep, indie rock, rap, pop and even punk. Swedish House Mafia are probably the most anticipated, with all three members appearing on an Australian stage together for the first time. Industry veteran Fatboy Slim will also be making an appearance along with other massive dance artists such as Scrillex, Paul an Dyk, Chase & Status, Sven Vath, Gareth Emery, Australia's own Stafford Brothers and the electro-punk sounds of The Rapture.
For those who are not a fan of the pounding bass lines of techno there are plenty of other acts to enjoy. Tinie Tempah returns to our shores for the festival, along with Jessie J, The Wombats and many others.
A full list of artists can be found on the FMF website.
