Everyone's heard of dad jokes, but this Mother's Day it's time to celebrate mum jokes. To celebrate the launch of a hilarious new comedy web series, How Me Parent Good And You Can Too!, four of the funniest females you'll ever see on a comedy stage will be entertaining audiences.

It all happens at the Sit Down Comedy Club in Paddington for one fun night only… wait, did I say night? I meant afternoon! These mummies have to be home to get the kids ready for bedtime! On Saturday 12th of May from 2pm, catch comedians Jasmine Fairbairn, Emily Kristopher, Kat Davidson and hostess of How Me Parent Good… Jenny Wynter and enjoy some pre-Mother's Day laughs.

But wait… there's more! You'll also be the first to see the web series as it launches. After that, episodes will be released at 7pm bi-weekly. Topics covered in How Me Parent Good And You Can Too! include cooking, cleaning, discipline, morning routines and more. Jenny Wynter is an award-winning comedian, so these bite sized parenting episodes are sure to be a crack-up. "From the moment I fell pregnant, I was struck by all the books, blogs, articles, podcasts and vodcasts, selling the message 'this is how you can be an amazing parent,'" said Jenny. "We're constantly seeing polished, carefully-lit Instagram posts showing ridiculously attractive people doting on their perfectly behaved offspring. You either have to despair at never measuring up, or laugh at the absurdity. This web series was born from trying to do the latter. It's my reaction to the plethora of 'experts' offering advice and 'look how good I am' posts on social media." "It's comic relief from the relentlessness of parenthood and a chance to laugh at the absurdity of taking it all too seriously," said Jenny. The web series can be found at www.howmeparentgood.com or facebook.com/howmeparentgood.

Kat Davidson has over 20 years' experience making audiences laugh all over the world. Mum to a feisty five-year-old, Kat is sure to share some hilarious mum jokes we can all relate to as well. Sharing the stage with Kat and Jenny, Jasmine Fairbairn will be bringing Funny Mummies a little international flavour. While she now resides in Brisbane, Jasmine hails from Canada, where they breed some of the funniest people on the planet. Rounding out the show is Emily Kristopher, who is no stranger to the Sit Down Comedy Club stage. Emily is a quadruple threat (actor, model, writer, comedian) who has recently enjoyed a successful season of Love Hurts which was a collaboration with Kat Davidson on the themes of love and romance.

Long story short, these are some hilarious ladies, so it's well worth checking out their show. Tickets for are on sale now at www.standup.com.au/event/funny-mummies-comedy-gala-sit-down-comedy-club
