Friends. Movies. Chocolate. These are necessities for a Girls' Night In over a long weekend but—yes there's a but—it's always nice to have a little variety. If you always do the exact same things, your experiences will never be as good as they could be.
Unfortunately, it's not always easy to find fun things to do, especially when you're on a crunch for time. If you find yourself looking for different activities for your next Girls' Night In, then read on. You're sure to find a few things you and your friends will enjoy.
Make Cards. Card making is easier than ever these days. There are so many different tools to make them with and thousands of embellishments you can use. It brings out your creative side and is a blast to make with groups.

Read Books Together. Take a cup of tea and curl up, each reading a book. The company of others while reading is comforting and it's always fun to talk about what you read with friends.
Write. Writing isn't a favourite with everyone, but my friends and I can't do enough of it. Short stories, poems, novels, they are all so worth the effort. Once you've finished, you can ask for your friends' opinions.

Bake. Baking has always been a favorite pastime of mine. When I was younger I'd make every delicious dessert that came into my head, now my waistline suggests that I should focus on making healthier desserts. Even so, there are millions of recipes out there and you're sure to find the right one, whether it's gluten free, paleo, vegan, etc.
Chocolate Fondue. Dip strawberries, bananas, poundcake, marshmallows and anything else in creamy, milk, dark, or white chocolate. If you're a chocoholic it's the perfect thing for you and your friends to do.

Dance. I'm no good at waltz or ballroom dancing, but I'd love to learn. Luckily there's this little thing called YouTube that has too many tutorials on dancing to count. Call some of your girl friends, turn that YouTube video on and get going!

Wii/Xbox Just Dance. Ok come on, admit it. You watch your kids do Just Dance all day and then when the clock strikes 9 pm...BAM! The kids are off to bed and you pull out your secret dance moves. Time to dance your little heart out! As exciting as it is by yourself, having a few friends to do it with you, will make it epic. Not to mention it's good exercise and can be either relaxed or competitive. Plus the different Just Dance games have plenty of songs and dance moves to last for hours.
