Supporting Friends With Disability Find Security In Life
Although pizzas are part of today's dinner options, it wasn't always so. When I look back on my youth, a pizza meal was considered a treat in our household and if I look back far enough, there was a time when you could say "Pizza, what's that?". How times change quickly!
Pizza is a savoury dish of Italian origin mainly consisting of round flattened base of wheat-based dough topped cheese, tomatoes, pineapples, salami etc, although these days you can also purchase gluten-free option for those with dietary needs. The term "pizza" was first recorded in a Latin manuscript in the town of Gaeta in the 10th century, however, the modern pizza was invented in Naples.
