Make Father's Day a Family Day
It's easy to underestimate the important role Fathers play in our society or to take Dad for granted, so don't miss this opportunity for a family day out. Make Father's Day more than a card and breakfast in bed, go somewhere together, do something together, smile together and laugh together. These special Father's Day events will let you do just that.

1. Family Day at Collingwood Children's Animal Farm

Get Dad out into the fresh air and get up close to the animals at the Collingwood Children's Farm Family Day. Meet Heather the Ayrshore cow, Mickie the donkey, Brandy, Tyson, Harry and Joe the ponies, Ted the Quarterhorse and Charley Benson, a Clydesdale horse. Don't miss the pigs, goats, sheep, geese, chickens and more. Guinea pigs will be on hand for a cuddle. Feed the animals, wander through the paddock with the sheep and goats, feed the chooks or look for some eggs.

Do you think Dad could milk a cow? Could you? Find out at 10am or 4pm when you can try your hand at milking. How about hopping onto one of the tractor rides running between 10.30am and 2.30pm?

If Dad's stomach is rumbling, an affordable BBQ lunch is being served from 11.30am until they sell out. But don't worry if the hungry hoards have beat you to it, the farm café is open.
