From Buderim to Caloundra, the Sunshine Coast is sure putting on an eggs-travaganza of Easter festivities in 2023 - egg-stra-ordinary festivities to keep the ears wiggling and the noses twitching. Make sure to bookmark what is hoppen-ing, and when, so as not to miss out on the bunny rabbit's visits over Easter. In date order, from Saturday 1 April -

Saturday 1 April to Sunday 16 April, 10.00am to 3.00pm. **
Please Note: the Museum is only open Wednesdays to Sundays and closed on public holidays. No registration required.

Make an Easter egg basket and search the museum for the Easter eggs. Mark their location on the map and win a prize.

Go on a journey of discovery in search of gold nuggets aka Easter eggs at the only surviving coach station on the iconic Cobb & Co run between Brisbane and Gympie. Children are invited to bring their own basket and to fossick the two acre Bankfoot House property for shiny wrappers in the hopes of discovering sweet 'gold'. There will be no need for blasting or open cut mining, eggs will be hidden in plain sight. Improve your prospects of hitting 'gold' by being ready to run at 10.00am when the gates open.

War Memorial Hall, Buderim Library and Buderim Craft Cottage and grounds, Cnr Main and Church Streets, Buderim
Saturday 8 April, 8.00am to 2.00pm **

For more than forty years the grounds of the War Memorial Hall, Library and Craft Cottage have showcased the vibrant annual Buderim Easter Fair . The hosts, Buderim Lions, Buderim Craft Cottage and Buderim Library are once again promising a smorgasbord of studio crafts, art, books, plants, fashion, hand-crafted home decor and so much more. Pop in for a coffee and cake too.

Supervised parking of $2 will be permitted at signed locations, with all proceeds going back to the community.

Kings Beach Amphitheatre, De Vene Avenue, Kings Beach, Caloundra
Saturday 8 April, 3.00pm to 9.00pm**

Spend your Easter long weekend in Downtown Caloundra .

The stage is set at the Kings Beach Amphitheatre with live music and a vintage market kicking off from 3.00pm, followed by the screening of Peter Rabbit 2 from 6.30pm. The Easter Extravaganza at Kings Beach is a family-friendly event, with a visit from the Easter Bunny, chocolates galore, lots of variety for dinner choices in close proximity, plus the FREE movie screening under the stars.



If you're still looking for some additional browsing and shopping, or really just want to walk off some of the Easter chocolate delights, the Caloundra Twilight Markets are being held on Friday 7 April (as well as on Friday 31 March) and the Caloundra Street Fair will be held on Easter Sunday morning, the 9 April.

Hop, hop, little bunnies, Easter 2023 is going to be filled with fun, chocolates galore, visits from the Easter Bunny and shopping - sounds like over-indulgent heaven to me!
