Sustainable Living Maribyrnong promotes sustainable living to local residents and believes everyone has a role in helping conserve and revive our environment. They run regular environmental seminars, events and programs just like the one following.

Fruit trees for Melbourne backyards on Saturday 8 August 2020 from 10am to 11.30am is FREE, but requires you to REGISTER for this online event with Scott Hitchins. A workshop that'll consider all the options for a bumper fruit crop, you'll take a look at selecting the best fruit trees to fit in with your space limitations, watering requirements, soil types, yield, companion planting and espalier options. You'll be amazed at what you can grow in a small space with room to spare for herbs, veggies, and more.


There are two other online events being run by SLM if you'd like to explore a few other workshops/subjects - still garden related.
