Leather and Lace by Sherrie Knipe, carved awesomely from wood
For the past six years, Bayside City Council has awarded several artists and writers year-long residencies at Billilla Mansion in Brighton, a beautiful space by the sea where they have access to its studios at any time to create in a communal setting.

From the Studio is an exhibition celebrating the creations of 12 of those artists, featuring everything from sculpture to video installation. Kieran Carroll, Kylie Elkington, Richard Holt, Julie Irving, Sherrie Knipe, Aaron Martin, Tess Milne, Heather B. Swann, Anna Rowbury and Deborah White's stuff will be strutted. Writers Pauline Luke and Dr Leah Kaminsky will be presenting public programs also.

The exhibition is running from Bayside's Arts & Cultural Centre at the Brighton Town Hall till 2 March. Open Wednesday-Friday from 11am-5pm and weekends 1pm-5pm. Entry is free.
