This October 'The Way We Wear Fashion Fair' returns to Canberra.
Running from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th October 2013 at the Albert Hall, Canberra, this popular vintage fashion fair will showcase a wide range of pre-loved garments that can't be found elsewhere.
There will be thousands of items to peruse: tight waisted Victorian ball gowns, flapper dresses from the 1920s, smartly cut suits from the 1940s, micro minis from the 1960s, big shouldered dresses from the 1980s and even modern day designer label outfits! They'll also be a wide range of gorgeous accessories on offer - so you can walk away with a complete outfit (or two)!
Canberra 'fashionistas' are sure to be in heaven. 'The Way We Wear Fashion Fair' is a great opportunity to update your wardrobe for Spring and Summer. Items are priced from just a few dollars - so there is sure to be something of everyone. But the racks upon racks of clothing aren't the only highlight of the upcoming event.
Coinciding with this year's 'The Way We Wear Fashion Fair' will be a spectacular exhibition showcasing 200 years of fabulous bridal fashion. Cleverly titled 'Brideswear Revisited', this exhibition will feature gowns from the famous Castle Howard collection, as well as a selection of historic Australian gowns. There will also be bridal wear available for purchase, so brides and bridesmaids to be are invited to meet with the participating dealers - you may find that vintage bridal gown you have been dreaming of or that something old (to go with something new)!
The 'The Way We Wear Fashion Fair' is a ticketed event and is priced as follows:
$12.00 Adult • $10.00 Concession • $6 Teen (12 and under)
Tickets can be purchased at the door and are come-and-go multi use.
You can also print off this voucher to receive a $2 discount.
