If you are looking for a suitable tea dress to wear out for dinner with the family, then this is the fair for you. The clothing for sale will including anything antique, genuine vintage from the 50's to the 80's, boutique, designer and 'one off' piece. All fashion tastes will be catered for from linen and cotton tea dress worn in the forties to brightly coloured minis from the swinging sixties. You may even spot a big shouldered number from the eighties.
There will be highly collectable fashion accessories ranging from designers like Jimmy Choo (from $100 a pair), beautiful bling brooches, or retro bakelite bracelets. And it's not just fashion and accessories for sale, there will also be vintage linen and lace, including tea towels that 'teatowelologists' can add to their collection.
Frock Up Brisbane
If you need some caffeine to sustain your search, then you'll find it served in stunning retro tea cups at the popular vintage café on the lower level of the Community Hall. Tea and coffee is served in real china cups while homemade sandwiches and cakes are served on vintage plates. There's no wonder it is often standing room for 'Katies Sweetheart Cafe'.
