Dine with Prince, a princess, a pig and some friendly snakes
The music of Prince, the story of a pig that comes to town, discovering the best qualities of a princess and meeting snakes will all be part of Fr'Inglewood on Monday, January 21.

It will be the second week of the Inglewood Monday Night Markets celebration of Perth's forthcoming Fringe World, featuring a taster of some of the acts that will be appearing around Perth

Four acts will be appearing at the Town Square in front of the Inglewood Library from 6.15pm until 8pm, providing a glimpse of what they will be performing at their full Fringe World shows.

'A Snake's Tale' lets children get up close and personal with reptiles.


Dozens of food vendors with a host of international cuisine styles will make for the perfect combination of an easy Monday night meal and free entertainment.

Patti the Pig Story and Song is the story of a pig who comes to town from Serpentine Falls with her friend Jenny, will kick off the performances at 6.30pm.

Through music and narrative, Patti and Jenny tell a fun and charming story with an environmental twist.

At 6.45pm, A Princess Dream, is a pantomime style look into the world of young Harmony who discovers the qualities a good princess should have.

'Patti the Pig Story and Song' is a children's show about a pig from Serpentine.


The interactive show is suitable for people of all ages, particularly families with young children.

At 7.15pm A Snake's Tale introduces children, over the age of three, to live snakes and lizards showing them what reptiles eat, what they feel like and where they live.

The final performance of the evening at 7.45pm is geared more towards adults with Fringe artist Michael Wheatley's Forever In My Life A Tribute To Prince providing insight into the life of performer Prince.

Michael Wheatley channels a legendary superstar in 'Forever In My Life A Tribute To Prince'.


Wheatley, who performed the lead role in the Australian Prince show in the early 1990s, sings and shares some stories and musings about the iconic performer.

Each of the acts aims to entertain and attract bookings for Fringe World's 700 events at around 138 Perth venues over 31 days from January 18.

The Monday night markets are open from 6pm each week until April 29.
