With Friends like these, life's sweet
Bright and cheery decor greets those in need of caffeine as they enter Friends of Mine in trendy Richmond.

The staff are indeed friendly, as they flitter throughout the busy cafe making sure the patrons are well-fed, and their thirst adequately quenched.

The menu changes with the seasons, ensuring only the freshest produce is used and the portion sizes are generous without being too big. Gluten-free bread is available on request for an extra $1.50.

For $18.90 you can get the perfect hangover breaky, (add a Berocca for $3), consisting of herb and cheese toast, poached eggs, bacon, and smashed avocado.
Cafe, Richmond, Friends
Friends of Mine cafe offers a charming and friendly atmosphere.

The 'Jack and Jill' is great, and also the smashed avocado with poached egg.

Friends of Mine is busy on the weekends but getting a seat should be too hard, as it's quite a good-sized cafe and there is outdoor seating available.

Most Saturday brunch-time diners were opting for dishes off the breakfast menu, but the lunch foods look equally as appetising, and you can even indulge in a glass of bubbly.

On the last Sunday of each month, Friend of Mine adds a dash of old-world charm to proceedings, putting on a High Tea complete with tea pots, white tablecloths, and tiered cake stands.

At $45 per person (with a glass of bubbles on arrival) or $60 per person (with free poured bubbles) bookings are essential.

If you've been stuck with the arduous task of planning your best friend's hen's night, this could be the answer you've been looking for.

Don your floral dress and pearls and indulge yourself with bubbles, tea, and delicious morsels.

The down side? It's cash only, so make sure you go prepared with some crisp bills.
