The longest running poetry reading group in the southern hemisphere, Friendly Street Poets will be launching two books, their anthology New Poets 18 and Patterns of Living at SA Writers' Centre Atrium on Saturday, 25 May 2013 @ 6pm.

New Poets 18, the latest Friendly Street anthology features 3 poets who have not previously had a collection of poetry published:
Kate Alder's - Shedding the Lanugo,
Jelena Dinic - Buttons on my Dress,
Indigo Eli - Writing Love Songs to the Moon.

Patterns of Living is the latest Friendly Street poets Anthology consisting of poems selected by editors Elaine Barker and Rachel Mead from poems read at Friendly Street Poets readings throughout 2012.

It doesn't seem to matter if you write poems or you just enjoy reading and listening to poetry, you will receive a warm friendly welcome when you attend their poetry launchings or the monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of every month (except January) at the SA Writers' Centre Atrium.
