Having fun with Fridgetown

Fridgetown Fest features dozens of events throughout June, July and August for both locals and visitors who want to celebrate a break from the State's summer heat.

Local business switches on its blue shopfront lights casting a wintery glow over the picturesque town's main street.

And talented locals, renowned for their artistic talents have created a three-month menu of art, music and food events to enhance the holiday atmosphere.

Organised by the Bridgetown Greenbushes Business and Tourism Association, many of this year's events are deliberately being kept intimate following last year's cancellation because of Covid.

The popular Banquet on a Bridge, which has been running for a number of years will have a slightly different format this year, with individual tables rather than the usual long table lunch.

Puzzle Town, centred around the Southern Hemisphere's only jigsaw gallery, the Brierley Jigsaw Gallery, runs from July 3 to 18.
