Friday was a hectic one for the local Mandurah bar Players, with the young adult driven special event Hooch.

The doors opened at 10pm and was quickly packed by 10.30 pm, giving workers a full non-stop day.

The waiting line spread out way past normal, and covered several shops past the area and almost onto local roads.

We have been in line since 10.30pm, and it's now 11.20pm and we are hardly moving. That's how packed it is", says Oliver Ramsden about the line wait into the club.

The same twenty-year-old male and his friends, did not get into the event until a few minutes before the strike of the clock at midnight.

Been waiting for almost an hour now, not leaving until I'm in though...the environment inside on Hooch days are always the best" says an enthused female Jessica Wilson.

Everyone is just looking for a good time...there's no dramas, everyones just so friendly even if you don't know them...we all come together to celebrate fun and good music" says Wilson.

The night went well into the perks of the early mornings, and sent visitors to Mandurah wanting to come back the very next night.

If Players is like this every night; then I'm coming back tomorrow..." commented a Northbridge local.

Even the workers whom were focused on doing nothing more than their job noticed the large amount of people in the bar.

"We had to stock the fridges with new drinks every half an hour, that never happens. Hooch always brings the largest amount of people than any other event we have here" says a bar staff.

The event Hooch that comes every few months, never disappoints guests and brings people far from the Mandurah area to the celebration.

The music, people and the vibe have made Hooch a regular occurrence, which started with Mandurah's local band Tim and Jean dj'ing throughout the night.

"They still make appearances here from time to time, they were here last Hooch", says a worker.

The amount of profit the bar has made from Hooch, it's sure the party will be lasting anniversary and trademark event for the Mandurah bar Players.
